Hey, we’re Shiva and Malavika (extra 10 points if you call her Maals).
As the duo behind The Moving Culture, we believe in the quiet, tremendous power of a single photograph and a cinematic video. We don’t just point a camera; we listen, observe, and find the rhythm of a story before pressing record.
Shiva is a DGCA-certified drone pilot who handles our cinematography, aerials, and street photography. Driven by a love for travel, open roads (he completed his K2K journey on his Himalayan), he finds a hidden narrative in every landscape and street corner.
Maals holds a degree in Visual Media and Communication. She is a storyteller and photographer who is here, there, and everywhere. She prefers 2000 BC over 2050 anytime, loving how history, tradition, and culture shape society.
We aren’t here for loud, fleeting content. We look to document reality, frame truth, and let stories breathe – whether it’s a sweeping aerial landscape, the slow dedication of a craftsman, or a raw human moment. We put our whole hearts into preserving visual legacies.
